GenAir Sensitive Security Information (SSI)


The Information Security Standards are designed to protect the information assets of General Air Service by defining a security benchmark and the associated controls to ensure legal, regulatory and industry compliance. These standards define the process or rules to be used to support the Information Security Policy

Compliance with these standards is mandatory for everyone who handles General Air Service's information assets. Some standards apply to the company as a whole. Some standards are targeted at specific processes, and it is the direct responsibility of the persons performing those processes to apply these standards.

This Learning portal contains courses with sensitive security information that is in control of company policy, governmental bodies, State and Country regulations. No part of these training programs may be disclosed to persons without a "need to know". Unauthorized release may result in civil penalties or other actions.

In addition, it is a violation for any person to make or cause any fraudulent or intentionally false statement in any application, record or documentation relating to training records.

No person may tamper or interfere with, compromise, modify, attempt to circumvent, or cause a person to tamper or interfere with, modify, or attempt to circumvent any security system, measure, or procedure implemented under the General Air Service training program.

The unauthorized release or personal or security related information may result in civil penalties or other actions against the offending person(s).

All items marked as Sensitive Security Information (SSI) must be secured and not left in the open for public view. SSI can include manuals, training information and security directives.
All SSI items must be stored in controlled areas and never left unattended. If you notice any SSI items unsecured, you must notify the appropriate persons and ensure that the items are secured.
SSI information is to be shared only with persons that have a need to know.
SSI materials must be disposed of properly. Paper documents must be shredded. Discs must be cut into more that 4 pieces.
